University of Hawaii at Manoa Paradise Palms
ABOUT THE CLIENT:
Paradise Palms is a food court located within the University of Hawaii at Manoa campus.
CHALLENGES:
UH wanted to update the Paradise Palms brand and unify all the vendors visually through a cohesive trade dress aesthetic.
SOLUTION:
First OCG created an updated Paradise Palms brand incorporating the UH brand. We then unified each station through a cohesive Paradise Palms brand trade dress while maintaining each individuals’ “look.” Following, we updated the interior with a more modern, contemporary aesthetic to attract both students and faculty. The signage and lighting system was designed to express a warm and welcoming feeling among patrons to encourage repeat business and extend length of visits. Lastly we designed an entry way by the lanai wall allowing people to find their way into Paradise Palms easier.
